Me&Ro is a New York City based jewelry design company founded in the summer of 1991. Inducted into the CFDA in 2008, designer and CEO Robin Renzi continues to express herself through the art of making jewelry. The company has grown from a two person collaboration to a 70 employee operation. Currently, Me&Ro jewelry is sold in its four retail stores (New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago), online at www.meandrojewelry.com, at select Neiman Marcus and Barney's New York department stores, and internationally in Europe and Asia at participating retail locations. Me&Ro's art is inspired by the human need both to adorn and to communicate through jewelry. Equally important is the power jewelry has to express the human values of strength, love, and faith. Me&Ro emphasizes the wear-ability of its designs, even when working with materials that verge on excessive. Known for its stackable rings, hammered bangles, personal amulets, and hoops of all sizes Me&Ro pursues an aesthetic of simple beauty. Designer Robin Renzi's vision is transmitted through the natural beauty of the materials used. Integrating precious (Brown Diamonds, Rubies, Multi-Color Sapphires), rare (Antique Tibetan Coral, Andalusite, Brazilian Opals), and semi-precious (Turquoise, Lapis, Rutilated Quartz) stones (to name a few), all original designs are created by carving in wax or fabricating in metal. Cast in silver, gold and platinum, all precious, rare and semi-precious stones are individually set by hand.
