Arman Sarkisyan was destined to be a jewelry designer. A native of Armenia, he practically grew up in his father’s studio, where he started dabbling in goldsmithing at age 12. Now based in Los Angeles, Sarkisyan designs ornate yellow gold and oxidized silver pieces that draw from gothic and Byzantine-era motifs. A blend of the vintage Gothic and Byzantine eras combined with modern influences, Arman's unique designs are inspired by his travels, art and mystical and spiritual elements. Utilizing the skills of old world jewelry-making, he creates earrings, bracelets, charms and rings in rich 22K gold or oxidized antique look silver. His themes range from ornate yellow gold cuff bracelets to diamond maltese crosses and star of David pendants to unique animal symbols and Hamsa Hand of God necklaces.
