Rise in demand for watch giveaways catches eye of Baselworld

Baselworld has confirmed its interest in having a luxury watch giveaway website take a stand at the exhibition in March Founder of Watchlotto, Harrison Gwinnett, told WatchPro he has been in contact with Baselworld about a stand at next year's event Watchlotto is a site which allows watch enthusiasts to go online, pay a small fee and enter a competition to win a corresponding high-end luxury watch.

He added: "I plan to host a live competition where we would give away a brand new watch to anyone who entered over the duration of the event If we get confirmation from Baselworld, a live competition is something we are going to do, people go there as watch enthusiasts and to go there and win one is even better." The most recent winner, Rory Dawson, won an Explorer II Watchlotto sources watches either brand new or unused and is planning on increasing the worth of the watches it gives away.
