Hermѐs to Launch Timepiece Collection Designed by Ini Archibong

Hermѐs is ready to launch the sale of Galop d'Hermѐs, a timepiece collection designed by furniture and lighting designer Ini Archibong The American-born Archibong, 36, met Philippe Delhotal, creative director of Hermès Horloger, four years ago, after he graduated from ECAL University of Art and Design Lausanne in Switzerland Archibong subsequently spent time in the Hermès private archives outside of Paris before developing Galop.

As a furniture and lighting designer, Archibong was used to working on a much larger scale "Working on smaller objects is a more intimate experience than working with furniture," Archibong says For Galop d'Hermѐs, he designed a case that evokes the aerodynamic curves of a racehorse.
