Franck Muller To Unveil Colorful, Vanguard Crazy Hours Watches At WPHH

Franck Muller's World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie will be held January 14 - 18 at the Grand Malagny estate in picturesque Genthod, just north of Geneva Prior to the opening of the event, the Franck Muller brand provided a preview of its new Vanguard Crazy Hours collection It combines one of Franck Muller's best known complications in one of his best known cases.

Bright red, blue, green and orange numerical hour markers appear in an unconventional pattern as if scattered across the brushed dial While the minute hand sweeps across the dial in a normal fashion the hour hand jumps to the proper hour marker because of the patented Crazy Hours mechanism that is part of the in-house FM 2800 automatic movement with 42-hour power reserve The colorful dial and unique complication are housed in a sporty, curved Franck Muller Vanguard stainless steel case.

Introduced in 2013, it's a big bold version of a classic tonneau shape measuring 44mm by 53.7mm It's the first time the Crazy Hours complication has been placed in a Vanguard case. . Source
