FCC documents reveal some impressive specs for the Movado Connect 2.0 smartwatch

Recently spotted getting FCC certification, the documentation found on the FCC website indicates that the timepiece will once again sport a round dial The FCC filing shows that the watch will be equipped with 1GB of memory and 8GB of storage Those are some pretty hefty numbers compared to most Wear OS phones, so you should see some improved performance from the Movado Connect 20.

So what is under the hood? The applications processor listed on the FCC documentation is used on both the Snapdragon Wear 2100 and Snapdragon Wear 3100, but we'd expect the latter to be found on the Connect 2.0 The watch will be equipped with a 300mAh battery, NFC, Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi connectivity While the original Movado Connect featured a 465mm case, the FCC filing refers to the new model as the MOVADO CONNECT 20/40.

That could be an indication that the sequel will have a smaller 40mm case The original version of the watch started at $595, and there is no reason to expect the sequel to start any lower. . Source
