There was another quite sizeable piece of news that dropped this week and that was the announcement made by Apple's design guru Jony Ive that he was set to leave the company he has spent nearly 30 years at, to set up his own design firm Ive doesn't explicitly mention the Apple Watch, but it has been spoken about as one of his passion projects Apple designer Marc Newson will be joining Ive on his new venture and is someone who is regarded as having a huge influence on the development of the Apple Watch.
