Yoon Ahn Shares Android Ring Close-up for Kim Jones' Dior Pre-Fall 2019 Menswear Collection

Taking to Instagram today, Dior's jewelry designer Yoon Ahn posted a close-up of her Android Ring The futuristic ring was designed for the Dior Men's Pre-Fall 2019 collection by artistic director Kim Jones, unveiled yesterday in Tokyo Until Ahn treated us to the close-up, we'd only caught glimpses of the android jewelry on the hands of models.

Ahn's ring is in keeping with the ultra-modern theme of the show, with a metallic and laser-filled set, designed by Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama The illustrator gained cult status with his 1983 book Sexy Robot, the still-relevant aesthetic of which can be seen in his set design Sorayama also designed some pieces for the collection.
