Virgil Abloh Designs Limited-Edition Champagne Bottles for Moët & Chandon

Virgil Abloh has had many reasons to pop Champagne lately Now, Abloh, who is known for emblazoning his designs with words and phrases in quotation marks, is uncorking his latest partnership-a limited-edition bottle for the 275-year-old maison, Moët & Chandon "They approached me saying they had an opportunity to work on a special edition of their Champagne and I thought it interesting-so I agreed," Abloh says.

The collaboration includes two editions of Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé: a 750ml "Ready-to-wear" bottle and a three-liter jeroboam, which will be exclusive to Abloh's family and friends The collaboration is certainly a departure from Moët's classically traditional look and the designs are indisputably Abloh-esque-the Champagne bears the words "Do Not Drop" on the bottle and "For Display Only" on the box Abloh knows how to marry the head and the heart in his work.

One dictum Abloh didn't have to issue-because it would never be heeded: "Do Not Open.". . Source
