See Bazaar’s highlights from The Quatre contes de Grimm jewels, which look to four tales by the Brothers Grimm for their inspiration Van Cleef & Arpels has revealed their 2018 High Jewellery collection in Paris this week with a fairy tale-themed selection that reinterprets four stories by the Brothers Grimm: The Twelve Dancing Princesses, The Golden Bird, The Three Feathers and Town Musicians of Bremen. Originating from two volumes published in 1812 and 1815, the first tale of The Twelve Dancing Princesses sees jewels imbibing the enchanted ball attended each night by the sisters The Rubans de princesse necklace symbolises the coquetry of the sisters through silk-like ribbons of round and baguette-cut diamonds, suspending three remarkable pear-shaped stones weighing a total of 22.87 carats that can be detached and worn as a pendant and pair of earrings.
