Royal couple continue to champion bespoke jewellery

On the royal wedding day the Duchess of Sussex gifted six of her closest friends, including Kate Middleton, a bespoke gold bracelet. It has been revealed that Meghan Markle commissioned Lisette Polney, the founder of  California-based jewellery brand Zofia Day, to create bracelets for her close circle of friends. The solid gold disc bracelets crafted in 14ct yellow gold were made specifically for the royal wedding, and the designs were approved by the bride. Lisette Polny, the founder of Zofia Day told People: “It’s an overwhelming honour to be part of history and for my pieces to be given as a keepsake for this momentous occasion.” The bracelets have now been named Kensington and are available to buy for the Zofia Day website for $450. By opting to commission a designer to create the gifts, rather than choosing something already available, the royal couple continues to champion bespoke jewellery.
