After 12 years in business, jewelry designer Pamela Love decided to open her first store in early March Love had selected Paris as the location for her first store because she saw an unfilled niche for upmarket jewelry stores that had piercing bars "We celebrated the opening on March 3rd with a party and pierced 22 guests with a 3-hour wait," said Love, who carefully selected a 710 square-foot space on boho-chic shopping street Rue de Grenelle situated on Paris' Left Bank with stores such as Celine and Saint Laurent as anchors.
"We were open for 12 days before the lockdown and the sales were crazy," said investor Romain Benichou, cofounder of Red Luxury, a jewelry and watch company which designs, manufactures and distributes globally Love started her brand with amicably priced costume jewelry consisting of silver, plated metals and semi-precious stones but added fine jewelry made from 18K, diamonds and other precious stones in 2016 Now her grassroots efforts has taken off online and Love helped direct medical staff to a more considerable PPE effort, which is being spearheaded by VOGUE writer Emily Farra.
Benichou feels confident that the new store and the Pamela Love business are secure for the foreseeable future. . Source
