Jackie O's late socialite sister's classically cool and eccentric art and jewelry will hit the auction block in Manhattan next week The personal collection of Lee Radziwill - once a "Style icon" and "Muse" for Andy Warhol and Truman Capote - is up for grabs at Rockefeller Center, where it can be viewed starting Friday, according to Christie's auction house The treasures belonging to Radziwill - who owned a home on the Upper East Side until she died in February at age 85 - are valued at between $200 and $60,000 apiece and range from a pair of sunglasses to high-end paintings.
Her collection includes a quirky French sculpture of a toucan, an antique porcelain cabbage tureen from the mid-19th century and a collection of her personal candid photos, according to Vanity Fair Other pieces include heart-shaped costume jewelry, art deco chairs and a painting of four tigers valued at up to $30,000 In 2016, Radziwill told Architectural Digest, "When I buy something, I do so with the intention of keeping it forever" She was the younger sister of former first lady Jackie Kennedy.
