Last week, my colleague Emili Vesilind shared the news about Catbird's new permanent jewelry option The Brooklyn, N.Y., jewelry store is offering its Sweet Nothing bracelet-a barely-there gold chain-as a welded-on accessory for the wrist Since reading about the new offering I've seen quite a few folks on Instagram take Catbird up on its new cool idea, many opting to "Get zapped", in the name of friendship or team spirit.
Personally, I love the idea-I wear pieces from Catbird's Sweet Nothing collection, anyway-and it got me thinking about other jewels I'd love to make "Permanent." When jewels look like these, who needs practicality? If these can't be made permanent, they're at least worthy of a jewelry lover's proclamation as a new favorite, forever piece Top: Sea Flowers rings in 18k gold with carved moonstone, amethyst, and smoky quartz, prices on request; Sofragem. .
