Moonstone and diamond swan amulet up for grabs at annual Swan Ball live auction

Every year since 1963, Nashville’s elite, along with some notable figures from across the world, have gathered at Cheekwood’s Swan Lawn for one of the South’s most charitable social events: The Swan Ball. In addition to cocktails, a seated dinner and dancing, the black-tie event always features a live auction and fine jewelry exhibit. This year, artisan jeweler Temple St. Clair has not only designed a royal blue moonstone and diamond amulet, valued at $31,500, that will be part of the live auction at the June 2 event, but St. Clair herself will be in attendance and is bringing several other pieces of her jewelry to display and sell at the event. “For the event, I will be bringing many of my classics plus some very special high jewelry pieces,” she said. “I love using creatures as subjects for my jewels.  I happened to have been developing a swan motif for my collection.  Read more
